Aroma on Ford to open in West Conshohocken on November 14th

Aroma on Ford has announced that it will open for dinner on Thursday, November 14th, at 101 Ford Street in West Conshohocken. The new restaurant fills the space that was most recently home to Catch 101 and is better recognized as the longtime home of Stella Blu.

Aroma on Ford is the sister restaurant of the successful Aroma on 3rd Street in Philadelphia. The restaurants are owned by Gary and Gail DeSanto, along with the culinary team of chefs Tony Cardillo and Joe Cardillo.

On the menu, you will find dishes “inspired by generations of DeSanto and Cardillo family recipes—handcrafted pastas, locally sourced meats and seafood, and classic regional specialties reimagined with
contemporary flair.” Signature dishes from the Cardillos to look for are house-made ricotta gnocchi with short rib ragù, grilled branzino with lemon-herb salsa verde, and a classic tiramisù. The pastas are made in-house daily, using “traditional Italian techniques and the finest imported ingredients.” A special Sunday dinner menu is designed to bring back memories of Sundays at Grandma’s table.

The bar will offer handcrafted cocktails, a rotating selection of beers, and Italian and domestic wines.

“Aroma On Ford is an homage to where we come from,” said Gary DeSanto. “It’s about bringing people together the same way our families always did—while offering a truly elevated dining experience.”

The dining room reflects the restaurant’s philosophy of “elegant rustic,” featuring warm wood tones, candlelit tables, and vintage Italian touches. “We wanted to create something that feels timeless,” said Gail DeSanto. “A place where every dinner feels like Sunday supper at Grandma’s—but dressed for a special night out.”

The restaurant will be initially open for dinner, Tuesday through Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Lunch will be available in the near future, Tuesday through Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
