The Borough of Conshohocken has announced plans to celebrate the borough’s 175th anniversary or demisemiseptcentennial in 2025. During a January 15th meeting of Conshohocken’s borough council, a seal (pictured at top of article) was revealed to mark the anniversary, along with a schedule of events.
The Borough of Conshohocken’s incorporation took place on May 15, 1850, and almost 175 years to the date, the borough will host the Simon’s Heart Conshy Classic Bike Race on Saturday, May 10th, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. That event will be followed by a drone show over the Schuylkill River starting at 8:30 p.m. The official viewing area for the show will be the Millennium II parking lot at 225 Washington Street.
The bike race was held last year in the fall, so that is a change to the local event calendar. This will also mark the first official drone show over Conshohocken (except for the ones from the aliens or China, zing).
