Conshy-based entrepreneur Eric Brewstein is nearing the end of a Kickstarter campaign for his Yiddish playing cards.  The Kickstarter page states, “The Yiddish Cards are a fully functional deck that doubles as a mini language lesson, sampling common Yiddish words.”

Each deck has 54 original images and a sampling of 52 of the most used Yiddish words meant to provide a mini language lesson while playing.  Within any given hand, you might have the opportunity to learn verklempt, yenta, schlepping. a kvetch and schmear.
