Chestnut Hill opened sprint college football season with win at “A Field” in Conshohocken

Chestnut Hill College played its first sprint football game since October 25, 2019, on Friday, September 17th defeating Alderson Broaddus University 28-7 at A.A. Garthwaite Stadium in Conshohocken. The two teams compete in the Collegiate Sprint Football League.

What is sprint football? It is a full-contact, intercollegiate, varsity sport and has the same rules as regular college football, except that all players must weigh 178 pounds or less.

Chestnut Hill College has three more games scheduled in Conshohocken, Mansfield University on October 1st, the University of Pennsylvania on October 15th, and Cornell University on October 29th. All games are at 7:00 p.,m.
