PennDOT has announced that Church Road has been closed between Henderson Road and Brandenburg Way in Upper Merion Township due to a sinkhole.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Henderson Road and South Gulph Road. Local access will be maintained for residents and businesses.

PennDOT engineers are accessing the situation and developing a plan to repair the roadway. Church Road was previously closed in fall 2021 due to a sinkhole.
