Cinco de Mayo and Spring Weather This Weekend

This weekend is the opening of the Conshohocken Beer Garden on Friday (postponed from last Friday), Derby de Mayo at Baggataway Tavern on Saturday, Cinco de Mayo at Coyote Crossing and of course the holiday celebrated at various other places.

Here is what is happening:

Friday, May 4

The Conshohocken Beer Garden is open on the riverfront from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There is food and drink from Pieri Restaurant Group, live music from Maria Maslin, yoga with Sol Yoga Studio and giant jenga, cornhole, and river views. It is open every Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. through the end of June.

Saturday, May 5

Baggataway is throwing its annual Derby de Mayo celebration from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. outside and then inside until closing. There is live music, delicious Mexican food and refreshing drinks served all day. The Derby will be shown inside and out.

Coyote Crossing will food, drinks, and music all day and night to celebrate. Doors open 11:30 a.m.

Flanigan’s Boathouse is $3 Corona Light drafts and Mexican menu specials.

Guppy’s Good Times is having $5 margaritas and $5 nachos from noon until 10:00 p.m.

Plaza Azteca will begin its celebration at 11:00 a.m. with an indoor/outdoor event. There will be a mechanical bull, live music, DJ, face painting and more.
