The Colonial Avengers, a new youth football organization for boys and girls ages five to 14, will play its first home game today (Saturday, September 18th) at McKenzie Park in West Conshohocken. The peewee team takes the field at 11:00 a.m. and the 12U team plays Warminster at 2:00 p.m.

Henry Racich, a Conshohocken native and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School graduate, is behind the program. He has experience coaching youth and at the semi-pro level.

Over the past few days a football field was constructed at the park.

The Avengers have both flag and tackle football programs and is affiliated with the Pop Warner and the Plymouth Whitemarsh High School football program. The high school team shares its system and plays, which allows younger players to develop within the system in place at the high school level.
