Colonial School District, Colonial Neighborhood Council, churches, restaurants and more working to feed kids during school closure

The Colonial School District is partnering with the Colonial Neighborhood Council, Meals on Wheels, churches, and several restaurants to provide breakfast and lunch to the district students who participate in its Free and Reduced Lunch Program for the next two weeks. Families are being contacted directly with specific details.

If you want to send supplies to the Colonial Neighborhood Council, please note that for now, they do not need pasta or peanut butter. Here is an Amazon Wish List you can use to have it shipped direct.

Please note that if this situation goes beyond two weeks, this need is going to grow, not just with the kids from the district, but with families within the community who become underemployed, etc.
