Lafayette Hill native and Plymouth Whitemarsh High School graduate Matt Goldich made a funny tweet about Vice President Kamala Harris rising to the top of the Democratic Party ticket due to President Joe Biden leaving the campaign. Don’t worry, it isn’t political.
Of course, as a comedian, Goldich is focused on the comedy angle of the issue. He wants to know why Maya Rudolph quickly became everyone’s first choice to play Harris.
It reminds us of when Sarah Palin was selected as John McCain’s running mate, and the nation clamored for Tina Fey to play her on Saturday Night Live (even though she had already left the show). The same is now true for Rudolph.
