Conshohocken author had a feud with Mark Twain

The Historical Society of Montgomery County recently published a video on YouTube.com that tells the story of Conshohocken resident Charles Heber Clark who was an author who used the pseudonym Max Adeler. Clark arrived in Conshohocken in the mid-to-late 1870s and was a prominent member of the community. One interesting tidbit in regard to his career as an author is that he had a feud with Mark Twin over accusations of plagiarism.

His books are available on Amazon.com under Charles Heber Clark and Max Adeler.
