Conshohocken-based Omlie profiled in Inc. Magazine for employee perk

Inc. Magazine recently featured Conshohocken-based consulting firm Omlie in an article about the company’s employee perks program, which includes $100 towards an outside-the-office activity, as long as it is done with a coworker.

From the article:

In January, Omlie launched Crew Connect, a program that gives every employee $100 a month to spend on any outside-of-work event that includes at least one co-worker. The funds can be pooled together by a group of employees and rolled over from month to month.

“Anytime two or more team members are together,” Burlew explains, “and you’re doing something, anything—whether it’s drinks after work, nails, spa, a Broadway show, a baseball game, whatever it is—it’s expensable.”

Two-thirds of employees participated in Crew Connect’s inaugural quarter. The company budgeted $30,000 a year for the program, equivalent to 0.3 percent of Omlie’s nearly $10 million in annual revenue.
