Conshohocken resident Erik Svendsen attended CNN’s town hall in Delaware County on October 23rd, which featured Vice President Kamala Harris as she campaigns for President. Swendsen asked about the high price of groceries and who she feels is responsible (Biden or Trump) and how she would resolve the issue. Swendsen is pictured at top on right with CNN’s Anderson Cooper (left).
How did Svendsen end up at the town hall and able to ask a question? He received a text message asking him to take a poll. He participated, and he believes the poll company was working with CNN, which reached out to him. He was asked to provide some questions he would ask Vice President Harris. He was then notified that he had been picked.
You can watch him ask the question and Vice President Harris’ response below.
