The Conshohocken Police Department reports that its officers responded to an accident at 3rd Avenue and Fayette Street on Monday, May 20th at 2:52 p.m. The accident involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.

According to police, the initial investigation has found that the pedestrian was utilizing the crosswalk and the vehicle was not speeding.

Narberth ambulance transported the 80 year old female pedestrian to Lankenau Hospital with a head injury and broken arm. The woman underwent surgery for the broken arm and is in stable condition.

The driver remained on the scene and was cooperative. The final determination of the investigation is pending.
