Philadelphia Sports Leagues, which runs adult recreational sports leagues in six markets in the Philadelphia region including Conshohocken has announced a rebranding under the new name Heyday Athletic. The new name will allow the six leagues, which have all been previously marketed under their own localized brand, operate under one recognized name region-wide.
“We’ve simply outgrown our current business model of operating six separate brands,” said Partner, Jason Cooper. “Especially when it comes to marketing our business. Managing several separate websites, social media sites, and registration platforms is quite inefficient. The change brings a new and more “playful” brand. The rebrand also offered us the opportunity to bring more value to the 60,000+ players that participate each year.”
Cooper, along with partners Dan Feeney, Tim Horan, and Ryan Ward tasked Fishtown’s True Hand Society to create the new name and brand. “We were searching for a new company vibe that welcomes adult athletes of every age and ability to get active and have fun,” said Cooper. “We believe True Hand nailed it with HEYDAY ATHLETIC!”
The company offers leagues for basketball, bowling, broomball, cornhole, dodgeball, field hockey floor hockey, football, golf, handball, kickball, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, ultimate frisbee, and volleyball. More than 5,000 teams compete each year in the leagues.
Heyday Athletics’s spring sports leagues open for registration on Monday, January 27th. Its new website will go live sometime on January 21st. Visit the website here.
