On Thursday, October 14th, a reader sent us a photo of the Columbus statue that is sitting in a public works parking lot in Conshohocken showing that it had been wrapped in a green tarp. A few days prior, on Columbus Day, MoreThanTheCurve.com had reported on the location of the statue after we noticed that the Borough of Conshohocken’s social media accounts had wished the public a happy Columbus Day.

We reached out to Borough Manager Stephanie Cecco to inquire why the statue had been covered. We did not receive a response.
