Rita Rath, is a lifelong Conshohocken resident celebrated her 90th birthday on May 16th. Twenty-eight members of her family joined her for a birthday dinner the following day at P.J. Whelihan’s in Blue Bell. Those celebrating included her three children (Debbie, Patrice, and Jerry), her 87-year-old brother Philip Imbastaro, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
If you do not know Rita, you may recognize her from her long service as the crossing guard at West 5th Avenue and Maple Street. She may have also given you a ticket when she worked as a meter maid for the borough.
Happy birthday.
