Conshohocken’s Tori Yorgey now reporting for NBC affiliate WBAL-TV 11 in Baltimore

Conshohocken’s Tori Yorgey joined NBC affiliate WBAL-TV 11 in Baltimore in February as a general assignment reporter. Prior to WBAL, she was with WTAE-TV in Pittsburgh and WSAZ-TV in Charleston, West Virginia.

Yorgey has reported on big international news stories. A month after arriving in Baltimore, Yorgey reported on the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge (video below of her in Baltimore reporting on the collapse for her previous station in Pittsburgh). While working in Pittsburgh in 2023, she covered the 50-car train derailment on-location from the East Palestine, Ohio.

She is a 2014 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. She went viral in 2022 being hit by a vehicle while reporting live on WSAZ-TV. Her new found fame led to appearances on NBC’s The Today Show and Ellen.

While growing up locally, Yorgey worked at Chick-fil-A at the Plymouth Meeting Mall and BJ’s Wholesale Club. She went on to graduate from Penn State and did an internship at FOX29.
