The Greater Conshohocken Merchants and Professionals Association will be sponsoring its 20th annual Conshohocken FunFest on Saturday, September 15th from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm at Sutcliff Park. This is the first year the event will be held at Sutcliff Park.

Sutcliff Park offers additional parking, bathrooms and larger festival grounds including playing fields for the newly added Kick Ball Tournament. The larger space allows the FunFest to offer more entertainment, vendors and varieties of food. The new location will create a great experience for the 20th anniversary.

FunFest 2012 starts with a 5K run and 1 mile fun walk. Free t-shirts to the first 400 applicants. Prizes for male/female race winners, as well as top in age groups. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m with the race starting at 10:00 am

Food, arts and craft vendors and a Kid’s Korner will be set up throughout the park. This year Conshy Craftoholic will be hosting the indie art and craft vendors; featuring amazing talent from Conshy, PA, NYC, DE, and NJ. Find extremely unique and creative home decor, clothing, accessories, art, gifts and so much more.

Scheduled musical entertainment includes the local talent of Jamie DiCiurcio from Next Best Friend, Rick Reinhart and Friends, the Heat Run Band, and the Paul Moore Band.

Proceeds benefit the following local organizations; the Fellowship House, the Colonial Neighborhood Council, Conshohocken Fire Police and the Library. Last year, the FunFest raised over $10,000 for these community organizations.
