The Borough of Conshohocken sent out a notice today that the morning issue at the Covanta plant near IKEA may cause a delay or postponement of trash collection in Conshy. Below is the notice:

Covanta Trash to Steam Plant is experiencing mechanical issues, which may result in the delay or postponement of trash collection services for the Borough of Conshohocken. Recycling will not be affected. Trash collection scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, June 11, 2019 may be postponed until Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Residents should proceed with putting their trash curbside for pickup unless further notice is given. In case of trash collection postponement, yard waste pickup will not be affected.
