A resident of a neighborhood off Barren Hill Road in Lafayette Hill (Whitemarsh Township) has reported that there have been some recent sightings of coyotes in that area. One of the neighbors captured a coyote on video (below). We’ve been seeing coyotes in our neighborhood in Lafayette Hill off of Barren Hill road.

Please note that the photo above of a coyote was not taken in Lafayette Hill.

It is not unusual for coyotes to be seen in Lafayette Hill (there is even a nearby restaurant named Coyote Crossing). However, coyotes are known to go after small pets, so be aware if you live where coyotes live.
