Blackfish Restaurant is hosting a “Downton Abbey” Dinner Party, Sunday February 24th. Blackfish previously held a ‘Titanic Dinner,’ and this event will feature the classic dishes from the early 20th century done Blackfish style.
The doors open at 4:30 p.m. and appropriate dress is required. Space is very limited and advanced reservations are required. The seven course menu will be $100.00 per person plus tax and gratuity. The menu is as follows:
1st Course
Cape May salt oyster with brook trout roe and Champagne vinaigrette
2nd Course
‘Mrs. Patmore’s London Particular’
sweet pea veloute with country ham and cream fraiche
3rd Course
‘Downton Crabbey’
blue crab galette with Belgian endive and foie gras
4th Course
roasted quail with frisee, lardons, fondant potatoes, and madeira jus
5th Course
slow roasted wild venison with sweet potato, cardoons, juniper, and quince

cheese selection served family style
Dessert Course
floating islands with creme anglaise and raspeberry coulis
