5th Annual Sole Harvest 5K Run /1 Mile Walk, October 13th @ 9am (Please park across the street from the Norristown Farm Park) The Norristown Hospitality Center invites you to support our work and participate as a sponsor of our annual Sole Harvest 5K Run/1M Walk. This event will be held on Saturday, October 13th, 2018 at 9am at the Norristown Farm Park. Registration for the 5th Annual Sole Harvest 5K Run and 1Mile Walk benefiting the Norristown Hospitality Center is now open. Teams Captains - Instructions for registering your team! Great for clubs, schools, families, gyms and more to build team morale while helping Sponsors - This year's brochure includes Sponsor levels and benefits. Take it to work and ask your company to become one of our sponsors. All - please help us promote the race and all the great work done by the Norristown Hospitality Center by sharing with others. Invite them to join you and be part of this years' festivities! New this year: $100 cash prize for new female and male course records Donations for the Center - Don't forget to bring donations for the center use daily. Gift Basket Raffles - There will be 10+ gift baskets raffled off after the race so bring cash virtual runners/walkers for those who live out of state but want to support the Hospitality Center. In addition to free breakfast from our long time sponsor Chick-Fil-A Audubon after the race, the Elmwood Park Zoo will be providing free admission to the zoo for anyone who shows their bib upon arrival on race day! Free race T-shirts will be available on race day while supplies last. For over 26 years, the Norristown Hospitality Center has provided basic needs and social services to the mentally ill, recently incarcerated, unemployed, working poor, or underprivileged free of charge, six days a week. Each day we have between 90 and 125 people sign in to use services including: breakfast, hot showers, mail services, case management, mental health, housing, and rehab referrals, health and wellness support, job readiness assistance, and various groups.
