Cradles to Crayons and The Goldenberg Group are excited to host the 6th Annual Metroplex May Day Collection in the Target parking lot at the Plymouth Meeting Metroplex on Chemical Road. Attendees are encouraged to donate new clothing, like-new clothing and other childhood essentials for local children living in poverty. Join us from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the annual Battle of the Schools! To get your school involved, please email communityphiladelphia@cradlestocrayons.org. Stay for our free family fun night, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., for live entertainment, games, activities, and food trucks. Philadelphia Circus Arts will be on site with their 20-foot-high flying aerialist, a stilt walker and juggler to entertain the crowd. The very popular "Food Truck Craze" will have several food trucks with food for purchase, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Cradles to Crayons.Clothing donations from the general public will be accepted until 7 p.m. In the event of bad weather, the rain date for the Annual Metroplex May Day Collection is May 23rd.
