It’s our birthday and we’re partying like we’re 90 years young! Join us on Saturday, September 9th, anytime between 10:30 am and 4:00 pm for a day full of performances, activities, goodies, and more! 10:30 am – Community Room THE HILARIOUS MAGIC OF SAM SANDLER You may be familiar with Sam Sandler, America’s Only Fulltime Deaf Illusionist, from our popular Summer Reading programs. He’s back, and bigger and bolder than ever! As this program will be held indoors, space is limited, and Registration is REQUIRED. (See below.) 11:30 am – 1:30 pm – parking lot Lumbrada Taco Truck* 1:00 pm – outside Circus 505 will perform tricks and contortions and juggling and more amazing feats than you think the human body is capable of! 1:00 – 3:00 pm – Cream and Ice Ice cream, water ice, and more!* 3:00 pm – Music on the lawn with John Krumm Bring your chairs and blankets (and bug spray!) for an outdoor concert! Throughout the day, indoors and out: *Brick Insanity with ColonialLug – LEGO galore! *Movie Marathon in the Board Room *A Very Special Community Puzzle – we’ll need YOUR help! *Lawn Games – including a sneak preview of TWO new ones! *Board Games *Craft Stations – Rock painting, spin art, sidewalk chalk, face painting, and more *Tiny Art Show – View all of the community’s creative endeavors on display atop the Mystery shelves upstairs! *A special visitor, perfect for photos! *Raffle tickets to a special gift bag including a one year Family Membership to either Elmwood Zoo or Morris Arboretum.
