Families with school-aged children are invited to join Karim Nagi for Arabiqa, a unique experience full of humor, acrobatics, articulation, and audience participation! Karim, a native Egyptian, will perform on multiple percussion and string instruments from around the Arab world. He’ll describe the history of each instrument, share how they are made, and write out the names in Arabic script. Karim will involve the audience with rhythmic clapping, word pronunciation, line dancing, and Q&A. Sponsored by the Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library. Registration required.
