Once a month, this group reads a book from Lauren Tarshis’s “I Survived…” series, short historical fiction books that cover major natural and man-made disasters and events throughout history. At the meeting, we discuss the book and do an activity related to the topic. This monthly book club is for children in grades 4-6. This month we’ll be discussing I Survived the California Wildfires, 2018. You will be able to check out a copy of the book at the beginning of the month so your child has time to read the book before the meeting. Registration is required. Registration for this program will open on September 28. This program is sponsored by the Friends of William Jeanes Memorial Library.
