There was a fire in the ceiling at the Target in The Metroplex in Plymouth Meeting today at approximately 11:30 a.m. We stopped by at 12:45 p.m. and there was a sign on the door that the store was closed “until further notice.”

We spoke to an employee of the store and found out that they were waiting for an electrician to arrive to evaluate the situation and make a determination on how long it will be until the store can reopen.

There were no reports of injuries.
