Friends of William Jeanes Memorial Library present $4,000 special year-end gift to the library

The generosity of the Friends Membership Dues contributors has made it possible for the Friends of the William Jeanes Memorial Library to provide the library with an additional $4,000 in 2019!  The funds will be used for the Science in the Summer program, water fountain repairs and new shelving.  The Friends of the Library Board is very thankful for the continued support of the Friends of the Library membership for helping to make the library a community endeavor.

DID YOU KNOW?!  Museum Passes

One of the many things the Friends of the Library Membership Dues fund are: Museum Passes!

Monies from the Friends enables the library to offer FREE admission passes to more than 20 museum and cultural attractions located nearby, in Philadelphia and surrounding counties, as well as New Jersey. There is something for everyone: race cars and helicopters, gardens and zoos, archaeology, history, and the fine arts.  Check the library website for all of the membership pass offerings.

The Friends is an all-volunteer organization that invites your participation and membership. For further information, check the library’s website, visit www.jeaneslibrary.org, and be sure to visit the Friends page once you’re there.  The “Friends” page can be accessed from the drop-down MENU on the top left corner of the library website homepage.
