As we previously reported, Insomnia Cookies is opening a location at 121 Fayette Street (next to the Great American Pub) in Conshohocken. To open, it needs to obtain a waiver of off-street parking from Conshohocken’s Borough Council. It will seek this waiver tonight (October 17th) at 7:00 p.m.

The waiver basically acknowledges that the property doesn’t have any off-street parking spaces and never did. A representative of Insomnia Cookies will basically be asked how many employees it will have, hours of operation, etc.

Granting this waiver has basically become a given. To deny one would cause a reduction in the value of the property.
