Local fire companies and ambulance services receive grants

The Office of the State Fire Commissioner has announced the recipients of funding through the 2019-2020 Fire Company and Emergency Medical Service Grant Program. The grants are available to fire companies, emergency medical services, and volunteer rescue squads.

Local recipients are:

  • Spring Mill Fire Company – $13,492.00
  • Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 – $13,289.53
  • George Clay Steam Engine and Hose Company – $12,331.03
  • Plymouth Fire Company – $14,248.03
  • Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company No 1 – $14,111.10
  • Whitemarsh Community Ambulance Association – $9,192.44
  • Harmonville Fire Company – $14,248.03
  • Plymouth Community Ambulance Association – $9,192.44
  • Volunteer Medical Service Corps of Narberth (covers Conshohocken and West Conshohocken) – $9,192.44
