After Marty Eckert’s (D) request for a recount was denied by the Board of Elections, the Democratic Party decided not to pursue it further in the courts.  According to Eckert’s Facebook page, the party did not believe there was enough evidence to support the need for a recount.

This means Bob Frost (R) will return to being Mayor by a margin of one vote.
