Someone on Facebook posted asking what happened at Saint Francis Parish in Norristown last night. According to the post, there were a lot of police responding to the parish’s annual carnival.

We searched around and found this video by @topsidemarc on Instagram. It shows the police attempting to subdue one woman, while at least one other person attacks the police. There are others getting involved, but aren’t throwing punches like this one person.

The video shows the crowd dispersing once one officer pulls out pepper spray (or similar device). The video does not show him using it.

Going right to y’all chief !! Norristown PD at its finest.. Make it go viral !!!!!!! First girl got thrown to the ground because she was walking towards a girl arguing, other cops continued to aggressively push people and threaten them, the other cop is being very physical with the 14yr old girl on the ground, choking her , hitting her , etc. second girl: thrown to ground for hitting a cop after he hit her twice, while on the ground being kneed in the back and legs. There’s ALOT more to this video. This shit NEEDS to stop.
