For over 10 years, Mermaid Country Day Camp has welcomed kids, ages four to 17, (and their siblings) who have undergone an organ transplant for a week at the camp in Blue Bell. The special camp, known as Camp Jeremy, was named in honor of former camp counselor Jeremy Clemens (pictured top right), who received a heart transplant at the age of eight.

This week the kids participating in Camp Jeremy will enjoy the swimming pool (and the water slide), tennis courts, golf course, basketball courts, baseball/softball fields, an archery range, ceramics studio, playground, and indoor space for rainy days (like today).

The camp is in partnership with the Clemens family and the Gift of Life Donor Program.
