The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office announced today that officials continue to investigate the unsolved murder of 27-year-old Cesar Flores-Diaz which occurred on February 13, 2025, in the 800 block of George Street in Norristown.
A $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the male shooter was announced the day after the incident. That reward is still active.
According to officials, Flores-Diaz suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the head as he arrived home from work. Arriving officers found a running white Volkswagen CC on the west side of George Street with its headlights on.
Surveillance video shows that the shooter walked to the area and waited in a stairwell for approximately five minutes before Flores-Diaz arrived in his vehicle. After the shooting, the shooter fled north on George Street.

The shooter was wearing a “unique blue backpack and has a distinctive gait”, officials said. Anyone with information about this incident should call Montgomery County Detectives at 610-278-3386.
