Glenholden native E. Teresa Touey came home this past Monday and declared herself as a Democratic candidate for the 7th Congressional District, which represents a vast majority of Conshohocken and West Conshohocken.
Touey has lived in MA since the 1990’s and she has worked for both Ted Kennedy and John Kerry, in addition to helping the campaign of the current Congressman representing the 7th Joe Sestak (D). Sestak is giving up his seat to run for Senator.
In the Democratic Primary Touey will face Bryan Lentz (D) a State Representative from Delaware County and potentially State Representative Greg Vitali (D), who also represents Delaware County. The winner will most likely face Pat Meehan (R) in the general election.
