It was recently announced that Down 2 Earth (418 Germantown Pike) in Lafayette Hill has a new owner. Plymouth Meeting resident Kate Kornblau takes over from Pamela Katz who opened the store in the mid-1990s (first in Manayunk and then in Lafayette Hill in 2004).

Down to Earth features clothing, accessories, and gifts (including custom gift baskets) for babies, toddlers, tweens, and juniors. Kornblau has 14 years of experience in this field and plans to continue Down 2 Earth’s cool, relaxed shopping environment.

Kornblau invites existing customers and those who haven’t visited the store yet to stop by to check out the latest affordable, fun fashion styles and trends. The store’s hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
