SEPTA has announced that it is adjusting its Regional Rail schedules to improve on-time performance and service reliability for riders. These updates will impact the Manayunk/Norristown, Glenside Combined, Airport, Chestnut Hill East, Chestnut Hill West, Fox Chase, Lansdale/Doylestown, Media/Elwyn, Paoli/Thorndale, Trenton, Warminster, West Trenton, and Wilmington/Newark Lines.
For most lines, select trains will depart stations earlier or later than previously scheduled. New timetables reflecting these changes will go into effect on Sunday, Dec. 15.
Specific changes impacting the Manayunk/Norristown Line serving Whitemarsh and Conshohocken are:
Weekday Inbound (towards Center City)
Train #6207, departing from Miquon Station at 8:22 a.m. will become Train #2407 and will operate to Philadelphia International Airport. This train will depart 1 to 2 minutes EARLIER at East Falls, Allegheny, North Broad, and all Center City Stations arriving at Suburban Station at 8:55 a.m.
Train #2327, currently departing Elm Street at 9:54 a.m. will become Train #227 departing 6 minutes LATER at 10:01 a.m. and up to 7 minutes LATER from all scheduled station stops. Service will operate through to Marcus Hook Station on the Wilmington/Newark Line
Train #2329, currently departing Elm Street at 10:53 a.m., will become Train #229 departing 8 minutes LATER at 11:01 a.m. and up to 9 minutes LATER from all scheduled station stops. Service will operate through to Wilmington Station on the Wilmington/Newark Line
Train #2333, currently departing Elm Street at 12:49 p.m. will become Train #235 departing 4 minutes EARLIER at 12:45 p.m. and 4 minutes EARLIER from all scheduled station stops, arriving at Suburban Station at 1:33 p.m.
Weekday Outbound (towards Norristown)
Train #5224, currently departing Suburban at 8:05 a.m. will now depart 5 minutes LATER at 8:10 a.m. and 5 minutes LATER from all scheduled station stops
Train #3234, currently departing Suburban at 11:39 a.m. will now depart 8 minutes EARLIER at 11:31 a.m., and 8 minutes EARLIER from all scheduled station stops
Train #3236, currently departing Suburban at 12:39 p.m. will become Train #236 departing 10 minutes EARLIER at 12:29 p.m. and 10 minutes EARLIER from all scheduled station stops
Train #3238, currently departing Suburban at 1:42 p.m. will become Train #6238 departing 10 minutes EARLIER at 1:32 p.m. and 10 minutes EARLIER from all scheduled station stops
Train #3240, currently departing Suburban at 2:43 p.m. will now depart 11 minutes EARLIER at 2:32 p.m. and 11 minutes EARLIER from all scheduled station stops
Train #7250, currently departing Suburban at 5:21 p.m. will now depart 4 minutes EARLIER at 5:17 p.m. and 4 minutes EARLIER from all scheduled station stops
