The Meatball Wars is heating up!  What started as a comment on Facebook has grown to be a fundraiser involving eight restaurants raising money for $100 for 100, bragging rights and a Finale event.  The participating restaurants are The Outbound Station, Spamps/Spampinato’s, Pepperoncini, Stella Blu, Lenny’s Deli, Pasta Via, Trattoria Totaro and Donnie Mac’s Deli on 4th.  Each restaurant is donating $1 per sandwich to $100 for 100 and Donnie Mac has upped the ante and is donating $2 per sandwich and challenges his customers to donate an additional dollar on top of that. To participate and support the cause all you have to do is go to one, or many, of the participating restaurants and order a meatball sandwich.  Pictured above are Mary Shaffer, owner of The Outbound Station, and Donnie Mac from the Deli on 4th.
