Number of positive tests for Coronavirus in Montgomery County nears 1,000

Montgomery County officials reported today that there are 101 new positive tests for Coronavirus. The county total is now 989 cases.

There have also been four additional deaths. The latest victims are an 86-year-old male from Upper Merion Township, a 57-year-old female from Abington Township, an 82-year-old male from Upper Gwynedd Township, and an 86-year-old male from Upper Dublin Township. There have now been 22 total deaths.

The latest local numbers are:

  • Conshohocken is at nine cases, which is the same as yesterday
  • Whitemarsh is at 31 cases, which is one more than yesterday
  • Plymouth is at 24 cases, which is two more than yesterday
  • West Conshohocken continues to have zero cases
