One of the few remaining large residential properties in Conshohocken is for sale

One of the few remaining homes in Conshohocken (Whitemarsh Township) below North Lane with a large yard is for sale at 1222 Wells Street. The house was built in 1925 and was the family home of a local doctor since 1968.

The realtor for the property, Robin Straff of RE/MAX Services, describes the home as a center hall colonial with a great mix of old-world charm with today’s updated features. The home is 2,306 square feet with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is listed for $850,000 and you can see the full listing here.

The property is 65,000 square feet and has some interesting features in addition to the house such as three patios, a gazebo, a full-sized dollhouse, a carved tree, a detached two-car garage, and an in-ground pool. As you can see in the above image (marked in red) the property is much larger than any other properties in its neighborhood. The large lots to the left are parks and a cemetery.
