Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. announced on January 15th the sale of the 289-room Marriott Philadelphia and the 464-room Marriott Quincy for a combined gross sale price of $139.0 million, or approximately $184,600 per key. The purchaser wasn’t mentioned in the press release.

Sunstone Hotel Investors purchased the hotel in 2002. The hotel was constructed in 1990 and 1991. A grand opening event was held on November 14, 1991.
