Plymouth Country Club Now The 1912 Club

Today the membership of Plymouth Country Club received two emails. The first announced the completion of the sale of the club to The 1912 Club, LLC, a group let by golf professional Brian Quinn. The second was an introductory message from Quinn, which shared some details on plans to revitalize the club.

One change is the name of the club. It is now known as The 1912 Club. The name is a nod to Plymouth Country Club’s history. It was founded in 1912.

Changes are also coming to the golf course. From Quinn’s email:

We are honored to have the opportunity and privilege to restore this beautiful William Flynn Golf Course. We are thrilled to have Golf Course Architect Ron Prichard and his associate Tyler Rae overseeing the restoration process.

The club’s tennis program is also going to be enhanced. From Quinn’s email:

We are also bringing in one of the top rated tennis instructors in the region, Fazal Syed. Fazal will be bringing his nationally recognized tennis program, Level 7 Tennis, to the 1912 Club May 1st. Fazal has been the Tennis Professional at both White Manor and The Radnor Hunt Club for the past few years. He was recognized as the USTA Middle States Professional of the year in 2017.

There will also be renovations to the club’s banquet facilities.

More to come.
