Plymouth Meeting’s Jimmy Curran featured in Comcast advertisement

Plymouth Meeting native Jimmy Curran was featured in a Comcast advertisement that popped up on our Twitter feed this week. The 2007 Plymouth Whitemarsh High School grad was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy and has used a wheelchair since he was two-years old.

After high school he graduated from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and is now a Senior Competitive Research Analyst in the Office of Strategy & Planning at Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia. He has also started a clothing line, authored a book, and is a publc speaker.

The Comcast commercial shows how Curran can control Xfinity’s Adaptive Remote with his eyes. Watch below.
