Plymouth Meeting’s Mia Abruzzo commits to swim at University of Georgia

Mia Abruzzo of Plymouth Meeting has verbally committed to swim at the University of Georgia beginning in 2021-22. She will be joining her brother, Andrew Abruzzo, who is currently a sophomore swimmer at the school.

According to SwimSwam.com, Abruzzo is a junior at the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova and is coached by Dick Shoulberg and Caroline Boland of the Plymouth Whitemarsh Aquatic Club. She is a qualifier for the 200 fly and 400 IM for the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
