Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s Darcy Miller to play field hockey at Kenyon College

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School senior Darcy Miller has signed a letter of intent to play field hockey for Kenyon College in Ohio.

A center defender for Plymouth Whitemarsh, Miller posted seven defensive saves in her three years playing on the varsity squad. She also received the Pennsylvania Field Hockey Coaches Association Academic Award and was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association National High School Academic Squad.

“My favorite thing about this sport is that when there is so much craziness going on in the world, none of it matters when I step onto that field,” said Miller. “It’s just me and my best friends doing the thing we love most.”

A distinguished honors student, Miller is also a leader of TedXYouth@PWHS and the Jewish Student Union. She plans to major in psychology.
