Plymouth Whitemarsh High School’s Jason Lee to attend U.S. Naval Academy

Plymouth Whitemarsh High School senior Jason Lee has accepted an offer of appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, and plans to become an engineer.

Lee decided to pursue a military career because his father was a Marine and his uncle served in the Army. He looks forward to the unique experiences the academy offers and the relationships that he will form.

“I wanted to serve and live with a purpose,” he shared.

In high school, Lee studied a variety of sciences and participated in many extra-curricular activities such as indoor/outdoor track, the International Cultural Awareness Club, the Principal’s Leadership Council, and the National Honor Society.
