As of approximately 2:00 p.m., Ridge Pike has been closed between Joshua Road and Chestnut Street due to a gas leak according to the Whitemarsh Township Police Department. The police ask that everyone avoid the area.

The Montgomery County Active Indecent report shows that the initial first responders were dispatched at 1:36 p.m.
