Read the 2018 Conshohocken infrastructure plan that could lead to tax increases or the sale of the sewer system

As MoreThanTheCurve.com recently reported, the Borough of Conshohocken is taking steps to consider selling its sewer system to pay for an infrastructure plan first presented in 2018. Another option to fund the project could be a tax increase.

The plan was presented to Borough Council by the borough engineer in 2018 but was not readily available for public viewing. We filed a right-to-know and today we received notice that the documents were now available on the borough’s website.

This is a very detailed document. It goes through every block of the borough’s streets and provides an assessment of the street surface, curbs, crosswalks, and storm sewers. It then ranks specific portions of each based on their condition and what the projected cost is.
