The Last Moments of John Brown, by Irish-American artist Thomas Hovenden, depicts John Brown being led to his execution. Hovenden lived in Plymouth Meeting on his wife's family homestead from 1881 to his death in 1885. The homestead included the barn known as Abolition Hall, which He utilized the barn as his studio.
