Registration Open for Narberth Ambulance EMS Camp

Narberth Ambulance EMS Camp is offering children ages 10 to 14 the opportunity to learn more about the important role that public safety workers play in the community, as well as providing a basic understanding for pursuing a fulfilling career in Emergency Services. Narberth Ambulance’s service area includes Conshohocken and West Conshohocken.

During the week long camp, each cadet will have the chance to participate in the following aspects of emergency services:

  • Physical training (exercise)
  • Vehicle extrication and rescue
  • CPR and first aid
  • Police and fire K-9’s
  • Tour of the Montgomery County 911 Center
  • Water rescue and safety techniques
  • Creating fire escape plans
  • Walking through a smoke trailer
  • Fire prevention/safety
  • And more.

The camp is limited to 30 cadets and will be held held the week of June 22-26 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The fee is $150.00. T-shirts and water bottles will be provided as part of the uniform. Each cadet is asked to wear navy blue shorts, comfortable sneakers and sunscreen.
